I received a call one day from an elderly lady for an awning quote. I went to her home and gave her the quote, at which time she stated that she was on a fixed income and she would have to think about it. About a month later she called and said that she found awnings online for less than half the price, so she ordered one and now needed someone to install it. We don't normally install these junk awnings, but feeling sorry for the lady, I lined her up with our subcontractors and they Installed it. Fast forward two weeks when I received another call from the lady, this time to tell me that the awning had broken and after contacting the online company, she was basically told that there was no guarantee and she was out of luck. Knowing she was on fixed income and feeling sorry for her, we decided to step in, replacing the awning at our cost. The moral of the story? Here it is some 6 years later and the lady has never had one single issue. Cheap or quality? Seems like a no brainer to me.
